Description of UL NOVEC1230 Fire Suppression System
FK-5-1-12 fluid is an acceptable alternative to Halon and is approved by the EPA (US Environmental Protection Agency) and NFPA for use in fire suppression systems. The EPA and NFPA accept extended use exposures of up to 10% no longer than 5 min. FK-5-1-12 systems for spaces that are normally occupied and designed to concentrations up to NOAEL (10% vol.).
